Church President Russell M. Nelson announced the renovation and renewal of the Manti Temple in April 2019. The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released the open house and rededication dates for the Manti Utah Temple. The rededication in April will be broadcast to all congregations in the Manti Utah Temple district.

How to Gain Heavenly Guidance & Heavenly Power 30 April 2024

In June 1985, President Gordon B. Hinckley of the First Presidency rededicated the Manti Temple after renovation. The temple rededication will be held Sunday, April 21, 2024, and will be broadcast to all units in the Manti Utah Temple district. Additional details regarding the rededication will be announced at a future date. The renovation of the Manti Utah Temple is nearly complete and the public will be able to see the changes during an open house that will run from Thursday, March 14, through Friday, April 5, 2024, excluding Sundays. Like the St. George temple was, the Salt Lake and Manti temples have been under renovation, with reconstruction of the Provo Utah Temple to begin in late February 2024.

After the dedication or rededication, Church members with temple recommends can enter to perform sacred ordinances. On May 1, 2021, President Nelson announced plans to preserve “the pioneer craftsmanship, artwork and character” of the Manti temple — as well as plans to construct a second temple in Utah’s Sanpete Valley in the city of Ephraim. A closure date of Oct. 1, 2021, was set to start the multiyear renovations. After the open house, the temple will be rededicated on Sunday, April 21, the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Monday.

The Manti Utah Temple will be rededicated on Sunday, April 21, and the service will be broadcast to local units in the temple district. Additional information regarding the rededication — including times of sessions and who will be presiding — will be announced later. Reservations are now available online to tour the renovated historic Manti Utah Temple during the public open house, via reservations.churchofjesuschrist.org. This house of the Lord is one of 28 temples in Utah, which is home to nearly 2.2 million Latter-day Saints. The Manti Temple is one of four pioneer-era temples that the church’s leader, President Russell M. Nelson, said would be restored.

Church leaders announced plans to construct the Manti temple June 25, 1875. Church President Brigham Young broke ground April 25, 1877, and President Wilford Woodruff, then president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and later the Church’s fourth President, dedicated the temple on May 21, 1888. Almost a century later, in June 1985, President Gordon B. Hinckley, then a counselor in the First Presidency, rededicated the temple following renovation. Original plans to construct the house of the Lord in Manti were announced on June 25, 1875, by then President Brigham Young. Ground was broken on April 25, 1877, and Wilford Woodruff, then president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, dedicated the temple on May 21, 1888. After a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is built or has undergone an extensive renovation, it is generally opened for public tours prior to being dedicated or rededicated.

In contrast, B2C (business-to-consumer) focuses on creating sites tailored directly toward individual customers. With specialized strategies and tactics based on each company's needs, both types of designs are essential in today's digital world. A B2B (or business-to-business) website is an online platform for businesses that offer products and services to other businesses. Rather than targeting potential customers or government organizations, a B2B website is unique, solely targeting businesses.

The tree-like structure makes it easy for visitors to quickly find their desired items and products. In a buyer-centric approach to designing a B2B website, the focus is on thoroughly understanding the target audience, their needs, challenges, and decision-making processes. By empathizing with the buyer's journey, the website can be structured to provide solutions and information relevant to each stage of their decision-making process.

Instead of playing guessing games, invest in B2B web design services. When you invest in web design services, you get a team of experts to help you design your website. They create websites for clients every day, so they know what will work best for your site. Not to mention, if you don’t have experience with B2B web design, you’ll have to learn how to code and create elements. This process is time-consuming, which means it will take even longer to create and develop your website. Ultimately, you want your website to drive results, whether it’s increased leads, clients, or revenue for your company.

By championing simple, learner-centric experiences and results-focused support, LearnUpon gives your teams the tools to deliver learning that impacts what matters – performance, retention, and growth. Along with text descriptions of each service and product, you can also include graphics of what your product or service looks like and videos of how it looks when it’s in use. Also, remember to include a demo request button or signup button to help potential customers take action that will help convert them into paying customers. Does your business have any awards or accolades you want to show off? As we mentioned, B2B sales cycles are typically longer than B2C cycles.

It’s important to remember that dark mode is a user’s choice, rather than inherent to the website design. Focusing your content to meet the needs of your target customers will ensure an optimal customer experience and improve your on-site conversions. Who you work with will depend on your needs, budget, the scope of the project, and your objectives. If you are looking for a critical digital marketing platform to generate leads, you should invest in a partnership with a web design agency. If you have an accomplished, extensive design team familiar with web design, you may just need the help of a developer.

Building a Better B2B Website

As mentioned above, prospects may not be ready to set up a call with your sales team. They may be determining their budget, or whether they are ready for your product or services, or they may need to sell internal stakeholders on why they need your products or services. The websites that convert well have easy-to-find contact information. Even if you want prospects to complete a form on a website, be sure to provide other ways to get in touch with your company. Your B2B website design should include where you are located and a phone number that a live person answers. Prospects may have various reasons for why they need to call you rather than completing a form.

Salesforce

Zoom is a leader in the B2B web design industry for its professional, trustworthy, and user-friendly website. Moreover, Zoom offers an array of resources such as tutorials and webinars that provide valuable insights about their products and services so users can make informed decisions. And those campaigns drive traffic to your site, which must be mobile optimized, or your prospect likely will not return.

In 2023, B2B firms saw trends shift to adapt to a post-pandemic world. The best way to optimize for mobile-friendliness is to use responsive design. Responsive design automatically adjusts the layout of your site to fit the screen where it appears. So, the elements on a page will look different on desktop than on mobile, but deliver the best experience for that device.

Playbook for Achieving High Conversion Rates:

Did you know that over 50% of all Internet traffic comes not from computers, but from mobile devices like phones and tablets? With the majority of traffic occurring on mobile, it’s no surprise that Google uses a mobile-first index, meaning it ranks sites based on their mobile format. This personalization could involve localizing your website and adopting a right-to-left visual hierarchy on your homepage to appeal to prospects from Arabic or Hebrew backgrounds. By understanding a persona’s interests and preferences, you can adjust your site's content and messaging to engage them more effectively, enhancing your conversion chances. Next, determine the specific actions you want customers to take to help you achieve this goal. A Software as a Service (SaaS) company might encourage customers to schedule a demo, engaging customers and directly supporting the company’s goal of increasing product trials or sales. A consulting firm might collect contact information for follow-ups, fostering direct communication and client engagement. There’s a great deal to be learned from the handful of world-class websites we found.

Our B2B web design team creates clear, compelling, and well-placed calls-to-action to turn website visitors into engaged prospects. A compelling B2B website design and disciplined content marketing plan help nurture a lead from a general inquiry to a specific opportunity to a committed relationship. Not only does it allow a visitor to navigate your website intuitively and quickly—finding information in the least number of clicks—it encourages visitors to convert into valuable leads.

Conversely, custom-built B2B websites are crafted by a dedicated team of 4 – 5 people. The advantage here is that you often only have 2 -3 points of contact and they become familiar with not only your business but with you, personally. There is a level of continuity and responsibility that the call centers just can’t provide. For this very reason, B2C and B2B web design must follow SEO best practices to ensure the website is showing up for the target market. For this very reason, it’s imperative that all images, videos, and photos included in a web design are high quality.

Design is kind of Studio Bramble’s thing, so it’s no surprise that its website (built on Squarespace) looks stunning and works seamlessly to create a fantastic customer journey. Its website leverages a simple design to help communicate the level of professionalism they employ, helping grow trust amongst its customers. Being built all on one page (with the exception of the blog), the top-level navigation seamlessly drives users to the information they want to find, making for an effortless browsing experience. By providing personalized recommendations, you’re not overwhelming your users with all your offerings. Instead, you show them relevant content and products based on their needs. Based on this information, we’ll craft a design that fits your brand’s unique personality and help you add all the features you need to deliver a positive user experience.

Disney Fantasy Cruise Ship Review Disney Cruise Line on Vimeo

disney cruise line magic vimo

Following the Coronavirus crisis, for summer 2021 (June-September), the ship was scheduled to operate cruises-to-nowhere (mostly 2-3-night plus limited 4-night roundtrips) from homeports London-Tilbury, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Southampton. These unique for DCL itineraries (called "Sea Staycations") were open for booking by UK residents-only and without any call ports. The new production show "An Encanto Celebration" allows guests to engage in music, crafts, and storytelling alongside La Familia Madrigal (family from the Encanto movie).

Broadway-Style Shows in the Walt Disney Theatre

This comedy explores the idea of time-traveling (!) wicked stepmothers and stepdaughters (thanks to help from, who else, a wicked Fairy Godfather) trying to destroy the glass slipper and wreck Cinderella’s marriage. A touching tale of a young girl at the age of not believing – follow along as she learns how to believe in herself thanks to the power of positive thinking along with some help from favorite Disney characters and memorable music. In this enchanted forest realm – home to Tinker Bell and her fairy friends – kids will find everything they need for a game of dress-up, a special craft project, or storytime. A favorite of younger Oceaneers, the Disney Junior area features games, characters, and more. There’s no additional charge to ride the AquaDunk, but you will have to wait in line (sorry, no FastPass or Lightning Lane here).

Fellow Passengers

Also were introduced new movie-themed entertainment programs for families as well as the "An Encanto Celebration" production show (themed on Disney's animation film "Encanto"/2021). Without all the pay-to-enjoy distractions, my family went to more of the gameshows, spent more time at the pools or reading on the balcony and even watched the baby crawling races, which sound bizarre but are very entertaining. I found it easier than on Wish to simply enjoy what comes with the experience instead of feeling like you need to spend $10, $20, $50 or more several times a day to get the full experience. However, none of these spaces were fully my cup of tea, mainly because they were dark and not super inviting. There's no fee and no reservations required to come and play in these clubs. However, you will need to get a Magic Band from the kids club that is used to track the kiddos while they are in the clubs.

Disney Magic ship related cruise news

Staterooms on the ship are divided into four primary types of rooms; each of those four types is further divided into multiple categories and subcategories. The type of room you choose is one of the biggest factors in the price of your cruise, because the per-person cost changes as the stateroom category changes. Beyond its intimate feel, a cruise on Disney Magic is all about attention to detail. While prices are often at a premium and upsells abound, you'll likely find it's money well spent if Disney is part of your family's DNA. A new music-themed venue (decorated in themes from Disney's computer-animated film "Soul"/2020) was created - Soul Cat Lounge (aft on deck 3).

Those under the age of 18 are not permitted in this adults-only escape, not because anything elicit happens there but rather because every age group needs a bit of time to themselves. You’ll find a pool and whirlpool tubs here, along with plenty of lounge chairs and easy access to the adult beverage of your choice. In the morning, enjoy all the expected items – made-to-order omelets, bacon, sausage, Mickey Waffles, and such – along with international offerings that might include Huevos Rancheros, rice, and miso soup. I myself don’t usually include gravlax on my breakfast menu at home, but enjoy it as a nice change on my cruise breakfast plate.

Staterooms

This is the only restaurant on Disney Magic where food costs extra, but the cost is reasonable for what you get. The essentially all-you-want-to-enjoy brunch costs $45 with can't-miss items such as chicken Parmesan, wild mushroom ravioli, a seafood antipasti plate and chocolate souffle, along with flatbreads, omelets, waffles and more. First-run and classic favorite Disney, PIXAR, and LucasFilm movies are shown all day long in the Buena Vista Theatre. The tiniest cruisers are well taken care of in it’s a small world nursery!

Disney Magic Itineraries

Out on deck, you'll also find many grab-and-go outlets, which are also included in your cruise fare. These venues serve up such basics as soft serve ice cream, pizza, fries and chicken tenders, but two of these fast-food stations were surprise hits. As an Earmarked Diamond level Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, The Vacationeer offers completely free help booking your cruise. Exclusively for guests aged 13-17, this special area of Senses offers treatments to teens. A parent or guardian must accompany the teen for the duration of the treatment (solo and combined treatments are offered as an option). A partner facility to the Oceaneer Club, the Oceaneer Lab offers lots of hand-on activities and experiences for kids ages 3-10.

This Disney Cruise Line innovation pre-schedules you to visit a different restaurant on each night of the cruise. You’ll have the same waitstaff each night, so they’ll get to know you and your food preferences. Thanks to this kind of attention, the Magic still has plenty of innovations and unique experiences that can only be found onboard this ship. For example, it’s the only Disney cruise ship on which you’ll find the AquaDunk drop-style water slide (added during the ship’s 2013 “re-imagination”).

Believe it or not, it's been almost 25 years since Magic first set sail in 1998, so it truly is an older ship by U.S. cruise line standards. Keep up your workout routine (and burn off the four desserts you ordered at dinner last night) in the Fitness Center. Stay in shape with weight machines, cardio equipment, ellipticals, treadmills, and other equipment; participate in a yoga, Pilates, or aerobics class; or opt for personalized one-on-one training and analysis with a professional trainer. Take the wheel of a large video screen navigation simulator and see if you have what it takes to steer a Disney Cruise Ship.

During the drydock, the Concierge Lounge was redesigned and all concierge staterooms (plus the Royal Suites) were completely refurbished with new fixtures, furniture, artworks. Follows the complete list of Disney Magic lounges, clubs and other entertainment venues for kids, teens, and adults. Like all Disney ships, the Magic has no casino (there's bingo with good jackpots). One of the features that make the Magic ship a special place to be is the deck parties, the highlight being "The Pirates in the Caribbean" Party - a great, most attended by all age groups themed Disney ship cruise fun. The Disney Magic ship food experience features ample portions (everything is on-board made), with several choices of salads and fresh vegetables, a great variety of seafood, meats, pasta, and naturally, a separate kids menu is available. Plenty of drawers, a closet with sliding doors, a desk-dressing table, a smart HDTV, electronic safe bos, 2 portable "Wave Phones" (with texting capabilities and coverage throughout the ship and on Castaway island).

As I mentioned, for me, the bars weren't inviting spaces when compared to my own cabin's balcony. This is in stark contrast to all the beautiful bars and lounges on Wish I was excited to spend time in. I don’t spend much time in the gym, but I do enjoy a nice walk for exercise.

During drydock 2023 was also installed shore power connectivity allowing the ship to plug in and use the port city's power grid electricity for all onboard services while berthed. It doesn't feel old, but it is smaller and a touch more quaint than the line's newest ships. I'd love for Disney Magic to add a slide into the kids club, a brighter and airier spa and some other elements of Disney Wish that we liked, but that's easier said than done. I do have a shorter list of more realistic upgrades I'd love to see on Disney Magic in the coming years.

Disney Cruise Line's MAGIC Family Fun on Vimeo

disney cruise line magic vimo

The main pool onboard the ship, Goofy’s Pool on deck 9 serves as the family pool onboard. In addition to the large main pool, you’ll also find a couple of whirlpool tubs nearby. The giant FunnelVision video screen and a large stage are nearby, so there’s always something to keep you entertained while swimming.

Please view our advertising policy and product review methodology for more information. We skipped "Disney Dreams," as it was a repeat of what we'd seen on Disney Wonder.

Room Service on Disney Magic

Your adventure begins when you climb the steps to the top of one of Disney Magic’s iconic red smokestack funnels; there, you’ll step into the launch chamber of a 215-foot-long water slide tube. Seconds later, you’ll splash down in a shallow run-out area that makes it easy to stand up, perform the necessary wedgie extraction (since we’re being honest here), and head out for more fun. Room Service is included at no additional charge on the Disney Magic – all you’re expected to pay for is a tip for the crew member who delivers the food (and any specialty items you might opt for).

Restaurants and food on Disney Magic

Travel agents offer Onboard Credit — that’s free spending money that you can use toward purchases you make while you’re onboard the ship! Use it towards specialty dining, spa treatments, souvenirs, shore excursions, gratuities, and more! Booking through The Vacationeer can earn you up to $1,000 in onboard credit. This teens-only retreat is in one of the coolest places on the ship – right inside one of the iconic red smokestack funnels!

Pirate Night / Pirates in the Caribbean Deck Party with Fireworks

The layout is ideal for getting multiple people ready for the day or for bed at the same time. The adult pool area was my personal favorite of the three pools, though it's not nearly as cool looking as the infinity pool on Disney Wish. The Twist 'n' Spout slide by the AquaLab was the favorite spot for my 7-year-old. The best $45 you can spend onboard a Disney cruise, to me, is unquestionably a meal at Palo.

The Disney Magic offers a walking/jogging track on Deck 4 that offers close-up ocean views as well as a neat glimpse of some of the heavy machinery that keeps the ship going (should you be into that sort of thing like I am). It’s a great place to take a leisurely stroll after dinner, or take a jog if you’re so inclined. You might even recognize your stateroom host or dinner server – off-duty, of course – out for a run. If you think a massage is relaxing, imagine a massage while looking out over the ocean!

Inside Staterooms on Disney Magic

Once your kiddo turns 11 (or 10 with parent permission and enough space), they can start visiting Edge, which has a submarine-under-the-sea look on Disney Magic. In the interest of setting realistic expectations, expect pools to look much more like this (or worse) during the heat of the day. On this waterslide, you stand in a booth at the highest point on the ship.

Rotational Dining Restaurants on Disney Magic

With a capacity of just over 2,700 passengers, Disney Magic may be dwarfed by the industry’s newest ships – but few will be at want for things to do. Character cameos, water slides, multiple pools, an excellent kids’ club, and a fun activities schedule keep cruisers busy during the day and into the night. For those who wish to stay away from the kids for a while, the ship offers various adult-only options, including a quiet pool, a restaurant, several bars, and a spa. It’s worth noting that while the larger Disney ships tend to upsize everything — meaning that theatres, dining rooms, and pools might be bigger — most of the ships still have relatively equal offerings. As an example, the Magic (smaller) and Dream (larger) both have three major restaurants, a night club district, kids clubs, pools, waterslides, a water ride, a spa, and live shows — just with differences in size, layout, and theming.

disney cruise line magic vimo

This includes at least three Broadway-style shows during your cruise, along with other additions (such as family-friendly comedians, magicians, and hypnotists) on longer voyages. And while there are certainly plenty of kids onboard, they spend a lot of time in the fantastic kids clubs on the ship so you might be surprised at how few kids you see at times. Like all Disney Cruise Ships, the Disney Magic offers rotational dining during the nightly dinner service.

The smaller size of the Disney Magic means it’s much easier to navigate on foot – you’re just a short walk away from virtually any point on the ship. My wife and I prefer smaller ships such as the Magic for this very reason — it’s great to know that we can get pretty much anywhere onboard with a 5-10 minute walk and not be exhausted when we get there. As the first-ever ship for Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Magic broke all kinds of long-standing norms for the cruise industry – introducing fireworks at sea, rotational dining, and many more innovations. On short cruises, there will be one "optional dress up" night, which is generally semiformal. On a seven-night cruise, there will be one "formal" night in addition to a semiformal night.

An adults-only piano lounge featuring live music in a classy 1950s Hollywood atmosphere. An undersea-themed lounge that combines cocktails with live entertainment, such as comedy, music, karaoke, and interactive game shows. Menu options may include a bacon and mushroom tart, French onion soup, escargot, roast duck, avocado citrus salad, sea bass, and lobster mac-and-cheese. Round out your meal with creme brulee or a delightful Grand Marnier souffle. On longer cruises, you might also experience Animation Magic, allowing you to draw your own character and see it animated as part of the dinner show!

In fall 2022 the ship operated 7-day NYC to Bermuda (Kings Wharf) itineraries. Since November 2022, Disney Magic is homeported in Galveston Texas for short-breaks (4-night and 5-night) to Mexico's Cozumel and Progreso. In September 2020, the liner had planned a European (UK and Ireland) season with 7-day roundtrips from homeport Dover visiting Plymouth, Cork, Liverpool, Greenock, Dublin.

Those aged 14 to 17 can enjoy a specialty coffee or smoothie while relaxing with newfound friends. Meanwhile, active teens will enjoy dance parties, karaoke sessions, and group activities. Tweens and young teens – ages 11 to 14 – have a space all to themselves onboard the Disney Magic. There’s a huge video screen, a dance floor, plus plenty of video games and crafts. A mix of planned activities and unstructured free time keeps things interesting.

And every cruise I look forward to enjoying a giant bowl of fresh muesli with dried fruits and nuts to start my day (alongside a Mickey Waffle or two). Dinner menu items include butternut agnolotti, seared sea scallops, dover sole expertly fileted at your tableside, tiramisù, and their signature chocolate soufflé. You’re invited to a special celebration for Rapunzel in the kingdom of Corona! Thanks to a little Disney magic, your night at the restaurant just happens to fall during the celebration of Rapunzel’s birthday and the anniversary of her return to the kingdom. A true royal feast unfolds… stuffed ravioli, ahi tuna tartare, smoked salmon, lemon & thyme roast chicken, prime rib, and the pun-definitely-intended angel hair pasta with sea scallops. The Disney Magic has 875 staterooms, most of which offer an outside view via either a porthole window or a verandah balcony.

Learn how to draw your favorite Disney characters – or just entertain your own creative instincts. They’re listed here generally from least expensive to most expensive, though there may be some price overlap. For a more in-depth look at each of these room types, see the descriptions and photos posted in our Disney Cruise Staterooms article.
